With 90% of users on mobile, we prioritized a mobile-first, PWA-ready design for fast, intuitive access. We also overhauled the site’s architecture, making navigation simpler and content easier to find, improving user experience. Before this, users arriving from search engines often bounced due to Weszlo's complex content layout, but the new structure helped reduce those bounce rates.

Bold Visual Identity and Engaging Features to Keep Users Connected

We gave Weszlo a bold, sporty look, using sans-serif fonts for striking headlines and serif fonts for better readability. This combination made the site both visually appealing and easy to use. New features like live football scores, improved journalist visibility, and a content rating system boosted engagement and kept users connected.

The old design lacked character. We introduced a bold new visual identity that aligned with Weszlo’s energetic brand. Using a sporty sans-serif font for headlines and a clean serif for text, we created a design that captured the intensity and passion of sports.
